Wellcome Collection is a public venue for the incurably curious, conveniently located on Euston Road, London within a short distance of Euston and Kings Cross mainline stations and St Pancras International. Wellcome Collection houses a state-of-the-art conference centre, three public exhibition galleries, the world famous Wellcome Library, a café and bookshop.
The Wellcome Collection Conference Centre offers a series of carefully designed modern event spaces, all of which are fully accessible and available for hire seven days a week. The centre piece of the conference centre is the Henry Wellcome Auditorium which is paired with the Williams Lounge to make a fantastic space for all type of events. Seating up to 154 guests, the Auditorium comes fully equipped with a PA system, microphones, lectern, cinematic screen, projector and an AV technician to ensure your event runs smoothly. Four smaller meeting rooms (Franks, Steel, Dale and Burroughs), provide the flexibility for a variety of different styles of meetings and events, each with ceiling-mounted projectors, screens, varying capacities and flexible layouts, ranging from 40 to 120 in theatre style.
The permanent galleries – Medicine Man and Being Human – explore connections between medicine, life and art in the past, present and future with an intriguing series of temporary exhibitions running throughout the year. The fascinating and thought-provoking Being Human gallery is available to hire for unique evening drinks receptions. The gallery provides a truly unique backdrop that is ideal for giving your attendees an unforgettable experience.
The Wellcome Centre has recently unveiled the Atrium, a highly flexible space featuring sculptures by Turner Prize-winning artist Anthony Gormley that is perfectly suited for reception and dinners. Also new is the Reading Room, a bright and airy exhibition space filled with works from the collection – a fantastic option for events ranging from evenings drinks and networking sessions.
