A helping hand
Their caring wedding planners will be with you each and every step of the way, with a wealth of knowledge to share to help make your wedding day perfect. Check out their top tips on organising your green wedding:
Tip #1 – the Venue:
Hold your ceremony and reception in one place to reduce the need for guests to travel from one location to another. BMA House offers four stunning rooms with floor-to-ceiling arched windows meaning plenty of daylight shines on you, allowing them to turn off the lights and save on energy.
Tip #2 – the Suppliers:
Choose suppliers with sustainable credentials. BMA House can recommend a wonderful selection of suppliers who offer eco-friendly products and services, paying close attention to where items are made and what materials are sourced.
Tip #3 – the Photographer:
An extremely important part of your day will be spent having photos taken. Keep your memories safely stored by taking on board the rise of digital photography, a much more responsible alternative to processing film, which uses harmful chemicals, and choose recycled paper and soy ink to print on.
Tip #4 – the Menu:
Food – what all guests will be waiting for! BMA House’s in-house caterers, strive to minimise their impact on the environment using seasonal ingredients and source from local suppliers, where possible. They are one of the first venues to create an all-vegan menu – delicious!
Tip #5 – the Table Décor:
Want to really impress your guests? By choosing herb plants as table centre pieces, guests can have fun by adding fresh basil to their dish at the table! Or choose an organic florist who offers a farm-to-table service whereby the stems are cut only a few days before they are arranged to your tables.
