Both of the Museum’s central London sites exceeded all targets, seeing an increase in both events hosted and the total number of guests. The Museum of London at London Wall recorded an increase of 40.7% on last year, while the Museum of London Docklands saw an increase of 11.8%, making it the most successful year on record for each location.
Over the last few months, the Museum of London has also seen a significant increase in the number of training and graduate recruitment companies looking for longer term bookings to fulfil their compliance training needs. In response to this growing trend, the Museum of London Docklands will be offering a special reduced DDR rate for long term bookers (minimum of 2 months).
Sarah McQueen, venues and hospitality manager at the Museum of London, commented: “We’re extremely proud to have recorded such incredible results at the Museum of London. The strong growth is testament to the hard work and dedication of our events team.
“We recognise the need to respond to demands in the market and have recently created a new DDR offering specifically tailored to these needs. We are seeing an increasing number of enquiries from companies looking to hire event spaces for a longer period of time for training sessions, so we have launched a specific DDR that allows for this at a reduced rate.”
