Over 20 years ago, Hugh Walker created Eden Caterers with three people round a kitchen table. Now, the team has grown to feed over 800 businesses.
Now, they may not grow their own vegetables, but they do still cook everything themselves at home from locally supplied ingredients. Naturally, their menus change with the seasons.
Eden is renowned for providing great food in a uniquely sustainable way. In London, it is now the preferred catering choice for organisations that share their values. Whether relating to waste, recycling, procurement, seasonality, husbandry or energy, they strive to set the best standard. All their meat and fish is UK-produced, as are all other ingredients when possible.
Their excellent food, including jams, chutneys and dressings, is made using fruits, vegetables and flowers. They even keep bees in their carpark so they can make their own honey. This insistence on the homemade ensures plenty of flavour, nutrition, colour and interest – the essence of good food.
Eden Caterers has developed three distinct brands, which between them cater to virtually any occasion:
Eden Express is a delivery service for sandwiches, finger food, hot bowls, salads, cakes, breakfasts and more.
Eden Events Catering provides food, equipment and service staff for larger events, including receptions, launches, training sessions and conferences.
Eden by Adrian Collischon provides beautifully presented bespoke food, created by Executive Head Chef Adrian.
