Swan at the Globe has played host to beautiful weddings at Shakespeare’s Globe since 2007. Situated in the heart of Bankside, they are fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies in their two event spaces, the Balcony Room and UnderGlobe. The Balcony Room looks across the River Thames with a clear view to St Paul’s Cathedral, and can hold 70 guests for a ceremony and wedding breakfast, or up to 120 for a standing reception. The UnderGlobe space, situated beneath Shakespeare’s Globe, has a capacity of 150 for the ceremony and wedding breakfast. It boasts a private Mezzanine level with exclusive access to the Shakespeare exhibition.
