Currently showing at the Foundling Museum is the exhibition Quentin Blake – As large as life. The exhibition of over sixty works by one of Britain’s best-loved and most successful illustrators, Quentin Blake, draws from works that were created for hospitals in the UK and France. Visitors will discover senior circus characters juggling and tightrope walking, alien creatures from Planet Zog swapping doctor and patient roles with young people and mothers and babies meeting for the first time underwater.

A reading corner decorated with Blake’s recent designs for wallpapers accompanies the exhibition, where you can nostalgically read childhood favourites. The museum is also providing fans with the opportunity to purchase two very special and exclusive limited edition prints signed by Quentin Blake. And if this is still not enough you can indulge in some Buzzwangle Badges, a Stupendous Stamper Set or a Squiffing Scrap Book available from the Foundling Museum shop on your way out.

Quentin Blake – As large as life is on until 15 April 2012.

"...an exhibition which is ambitious, intrepid and joyful." The Telegraph
