African Themed Hen Nights

Wednesday 22nd February 2012

The Livingstone Lodge African Experience at Port Lympne is the UK’s only overnight safari lodge offering hens a unique alternative venue. Experience a magical night under the stars, first class authentic African dining and two safari adventures.

Welcomed with a glass of bubbly the hen and her party will check in and then embark on their first safari to encounter giraffe, black rhino, wildebeest, ostrich, zebra and many other animals roaming freely over 100 acres of Kentish savannah known as The African Experience.

Livingstone Lodge is an overnight experience where guests can stay in luxury tented accommodation with private verandas, set in part of the 600 acres that make up Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent. Dinner is an authentic five course African buffet cooked on a firepit in the spacious and comfortable Laapa (meeting place). Breakfast the following morning is also served in the Laapa and guests can enjoy a cooked breakfast while watching the animals feeding.

Sam Lloyd, Sales Manager said: ‘Livingstone Lodge, our award winning experience, provides the perfect alternative choice for hens with its breathtaking views, luxury tents with private verandas, sumptuous menu and well stocked bar it will really make a hen night to remember.’

To make the evening extra special hens can try an invigorating lesson in African dancing with music provided by a famous traditional African performer.

Sam added: ‘New for 2012 you don’t need any African dance experience, just a positive good fun attitude and a desire to further understand traditional African culture.’
