Syon Park

Syon Park is one of the last privately owned 'country' estates in London, conveniently located eight miles west of central London. Syon House and the Great Conservatory are set in 208 acres of Thames-side landscaped parkland.

The interiors of Syon House are regarded as the early masterpiece of the 18th century architect, Robert Adam. The State Apartments provide several sumptuous settings for events from cocktail receptions, concerts, promotions and formal dinners to lectures (120 people maximum). The Great Hall is also licensed for civil marriage ceremonies. The Private Apartments are perfect for smaller, more exclusive events (22 people maximum). There is an extensive authorised list of excellent caterers.

In the grounds for larger events for up to 2,000 people, marquees can be erected on several possible sites including the Lime Avenue, South Lawn and Rose Garden. Set in 40 acres of gardens is the Great Conservatory (a magnificent metal and glass structure), available evening hire from April to mid-October. Smoking, amplified music and candles are permitted in this magical venue, which is ideal for summer parties, dinners and wedding receptions (160 seated or 200 standing reception/buffet).
