The Kensington Venue

The Kensington Venue is an ideal location for numerous functions and provides a blank canvas catering to both the simplest of ideas or the most lavish occasions. The venue operates on a dry hire basis and is available exclusively for private events. As a result, they operate on flexible hours with regards to music and alcohol consumption (there are no licensing restrictions for private dry hire events).

It is a blank canvas in the truest sense of the word, with no on-site furniture, Wi-Fi or catering, which allows for complete versatility and hands over all creative licensing to you.

Having formerly functioned as a pub, the venue retains elements of its previous purpose: there is an L-shaped bar complete with original beer pulls, three decorative (non-working) fireplaces and seven vast arched windows. These are the distinguishing architectural features of the place, which give The Kensington its uniquely subtle retro character while the décor itself presents a refreshingly contemporary feel. The floor is composed of shiny black hardwood and green tartan carpets, the bar is black wood with a copper-effect top surface and lighting is in the form of large hanging bulbs, which is both modern and simple.

The room measures 185sqm, and with its high ceilings, white walls and large windows, the room’s generous size is given an elevated sense of spaciousness.

The Kensington Venue is located on the corner of two predominantly residential roads in Kensington, 10 minutes walk from Westfield London Shopping Centre, Kensington High Street and Holland Park and a 3 minute walk from Kensington Olympia Overground and Tube Station. As it is a ground floor venue with parking available directly outside in either bays or single yellow lines, it is very easily accessible and ideal for deliveries and wheelchair users.
