The HAC

The HAC is an outstanding and thoroughly unexpected venue; an historic 18th century mansion set in a six acre garden yet located just a stone’s throw from Moorgate in the heart of the City of London.

Inside Armoury House several of the elegant rooms are available for hire, including the atmospheric oak-paneled Long Room which is steeped in the rich history of the HAC. Huge picture windows allow fantastic views of the six acre garden and out to the City of London and beyond. With candles lit, soft lighting and musicians playing from the minstrels’ gallery above, it is a stunning setting for all types of event, whether it be an evening dinner and dance, a cocktail reception or a party. During the week the Long Room is available for evening events and, occasionally, a lunch or daytime conference. At weekends the lovely setting ensures it is in high demand as an exceptional City wedding venue.

In contrast to the history and tradition of Armoury House, the new Prince Consort Rooms are stylish and contemporary; a flexible, light and airy blank canvas that enables each client to stamp their own identity on the space whether it be a conference, charity dinner, christmas party or wedding reception. The Prince Consort Rooms divides into the East and West Albert Rooms which are used in conjunction with each other seating up to 400 for a dinner or theatre style conference or 750 for a stand up buffet or reception. An outside courtyard and planter area allows guests to make the most of any fine weather. The Prince Consort Rooms feature an inbuilt atmospheric lighting system, PA, air-conditioning and wireless broadband.

Armoury House and the Prince Consort Rooms are undoubtedly magnificent but what sets the HAC apart from other City venues is the spectacular, six acre Artillery Garden. This can be hired for sports such as cricket, football, rugby, softball and croquet as well as for corporate fun days and barbecues.
