Tuesday 6th December 2011

If you are looking for a meeting or an event with meaning, at a venue that stands for something – look no further than St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square.

They are renowned throughout the world for their hospitality, music, architecture, and a forward-thinking approach to supporting people in need.

After your meeting why not visit the Gallery in the Crypt, it offers a platform for artists and organisations to display their works, to deliver a message of hope and re-examine their views of the modern world. Exhibitions in 2012 include TackleAfrica from 23-29 January. This photography exhibition illustrates the charity’s use of football to pass on life-saving messages about HIV and Aids across Africa. On display from 6-19 February is How Lucky We Are, a series powerful black and white images of children abandoned on the streets of Dhaka and subsequently raised by the Sreepur Village, Bangladesh. The exhibitions in the Gallery in the Crypt change on a weekly basis and are free to visit. So if you require a venue that will deliver on many levels – great location, professional customer service and high quality in-house catering all delivered with social responsibility then email the St Martin’s team at events@smitf.org. All profits from events support the work of St Martin’s.
