This private member’s lounge has become one of the most sought after destinations in the heart of South Kensington, attracting the most stylish crowd in London.

Subtly divided into several alcoves with a state of the art sound system, it is lit with changing coloured light panels, with low-slung comfortable leather seating. Boujis epitomizes London glamour and the clientele is a continual testimony to this.

Cocktail Masterclass @ Boujis

Concept: – this would be an early evening event where a group can learn the tricks of the cocktail trade, in one of the most exclusive members clubs in London. Perfect for a corporate team bonding exercise or simply a private occasion offering something alternative. The class can be combined with a night out at Boujis, and can be booked in any day of the week.

Group Size: There is no minimum amount of people, but a minimum spend of £1000 (+service of 15%). They recommend numbers in circa of 30 people and no more than 35.

Menus: Catering will be provided by ITSU, the local Japanese restaurant which they have a long standing relationship with.

Format:

a) Cost would be £50 per head including canapes or £30 per head just the class/ drinks.

b) Host chooses 4 drinks from a list of 30 with their assistance.

c) Guests would arrive and receive welcome cocktail while waiting for all guests (20min)

d) Small talk on procedure, cocktails etc. (10min)

e) Guests split into 2 groups each group goes to a separate bar

f) Each group learns 2 drinks, and has a small amount of time to make some. (45min)

g) Sushi served canape style – 6 bites per person (15min disruption) from ITSU

h) Another round of cocktails goes out.

i) Groups swap trainers and learn second drink (45min)

j) Groups nominate 2 people per team to make 2 of the learnt drinks

k) Best group wins a magnum of champagne and the lifelong admiration of their peers.

Timing: This is a 2 to 2 ½ hour class, which is run anytime after 7pm ideally on a night where Boujis is open (Wednesday/ Thursday nights). Ideal time is 7pm arrival for a 7:30pm start. Boujis opens to members at 10:30pm and the group is welcome to stay on (subject to the type of event happening from 10:30pm).

Mixologist: These classes are run by their expert Mixologist Steve Manktelow, who has won numerous cocktail making awards and who has managed the cocktail development and training for the entire Ignite Group since 1998.
