In addition, they have recently launched a new gallery showcasing highlights from their permanent collection. This has enhanced their reputation as ‘an embassy for Scottish art’ which encompasses some of Scottish art’s most iconic images with paintings from 1770 to the present day.

Gallery One provides an inspirational and engaging backdrop for events where guests can enjoy an exclusive private view of the current exhibition. Their quarterly exhibition programme enlivens any event and provides the perfect setting for both daytime and evening entertaining. Split across two levels this gallery retains the intimacy of a private collection and is ideal for a variety of events especially lunches and dinners for up to 50 guests.

Gallery Two is an elegant and versatile space flooded with light from expansive bay windows which run the full length of the gallery serving to highlight paintings dating from 1770 to the present day. Enriched with Georgian inspired architecture this gallery creates a sparkling atmosphere for any event.

With its high ceilings, this light and open space is ideal for daytime meetings and seminars and works perfectly when combined with Gallery One for a reception for up to 150 guests or dinner for up to 100 guests. Guests will be impressed with the opportunity to view both galleries and their contrasting yet stunning works of art. Incorporating a talk from the gallery curator will add a refreshing twist to your event and ensure a unique experience for your guests.
