Mason & Taylor

Mason & Taylor is a craft beer and real ale bar from the team behind The Duke of Wellington in Dalston. They are located at 51-55 Bethnal Green Road, at the junction of Redchurch Street and Brick Lane, a 3-minute walk from Shoreditch High Street station. They are based over 2 floors with a ground floor and basement bar. The ground floor has the understated industrial, yet welcoming, aesthetic of exposed concrete, glass and wood with vintage lampshades, and comfortable Scandinavian style fixed seating.

Mason & Taylor are proud to be independently supplied. All their beers come from independent brewers and all direct from the country of origin, with nothing brewed under licence, with a particular focus on London microbreweries such as Camden Town Brewery and the Kernel Brewery. They have 12 draught beers and ales on tap at any one time and a seasonal list of 40 bottled beers. Naturally they serve a wide range of interesting spirits and wine as well, including Sipsmith London micro-distilled Gin and Vodka.

Food at Mason & Taylor is seasonal, from local producers and suppliers, with an emphasis on responsibility and traceable provenance, and is served as smaller plates, perfect for sharing rather than as traditional starters and main courses.

Basement Bar

Mason & Taylor have a late licensed basement bar (open until 1am, and 2am Fridays and Saturdays), which is available for private hire for any type of event such as birthdays, parties, meetings, or exhibitions and has a capacity of 200.
