Wasing Park

Berkshire

A uniquely versatile estate located in rural West Berkshire...

Wasing Park is situated in the heart of Wasing Estate in Berkshire. It is an exquisite and very private, incredible setting, just one hour from London.

A uniquely versatile venue, Wasing Park is set amidst a 4,000 acre backdrop of lush meadows, oak trees, and flowering foliage, located in rural West Berkshire. Recently renovated to host either an intimate meeting for six or a lavish event for 140, this environmentally conscious venue offers the most amazing historic buildings, fully refurbished with sleek interiors and state-of-the-art technology, to provide facilities with endless opportunities to host a memorable meeting, corporate family day, team building event, conference, wedding or special event.

Wasing Park can host almost any sized event - festivals, concerts, operas, open air theatre and unique corporate and conference facilities from 6 to 20,000 people.

Bespoke events can be arranged to suit every request. Consider hosting a conference under a canvas adjacent to one of their stunning lakes in a leafy glade on the edge of the ancient woodland. Then enjoy the healthy outdoor experience with a spit roast venison, hog or lamb for your guests to feast on.

Their huge fire bowl with its roaring fire can be the focal point by night. Sitting under the stars with only the sounds of nature creates a relaxed environment. This magical setting can be enhanced during the evening using candlelight and fairy lights, an experience to remember a conference never to forget.

The country estate not only boasts its own idyllic 15th century Parish Church but is fully licensed to hold civil marriage services in its serene Garden Room with folding glass doors which bring the stunning gardens ‘within’ for the perfect indoor/outdoor wedding. Business events can also benefit from the light, bright Garden Room, perfect for lectures or conferences, or enjoy a more intimate meeting setting in The Stables Lodge with funky cowhide high-back chairs and polished oak table. The castellated Castle Barn was built with wedding receptions and corporate functions in mind, and is a combination of old and new with the appearance of a castle from the front, the atmosphere of a traditional barn in the interior, and modern amenities including a stage with full lighting and projection system, and a bar.

AA rosette-winning Head Chef Joe Cathers took hold of the keys to Galloping Gourmet’s new purpose built kitchen at Wasing Park in July 2008. Galloping Gourmet, formed in 1993 and based in London, provides fine dining and in-house catering services to a variety of privately owned wedding and corporate venues across the UK. Joe Cathers worked alongside Heston Blumenthal at the Fat Duck in Bray (consistently second in the World’s Best Restaurant Awards behind ‘El Bulli’ of Barcelona) and as Head Chef at the Running Horse and the Mill Arms. At Wasing, he uses the local game and produce to create mouth-watering dishes. Pigeon, trout, rabbit, apples and home-grown vegetables are literally right on the doorstep at Wasing.

For the true outdoor experience camping can be arranged and their latest offering of foraging courses offer the ultimate experience.
