Wrest Park House & Gardens

The Wrest Park estate was home to the de Grey family from the 13th Century until 1917. The present Manor House was completed in 1834 and designed by Thomas Earl de Grey, an enthusiast for 18th-century French architecture.

Following extensive refurbishment, Wrest Park House is the latest English Heritage property available to hire.

An imposing entrance hall leads to five interconnecting rooms in the main Mansion House which make the most of the views and boast painted ceilings, gilding and rich furnishings. Events can be held for up to 100 people in the Mansion House. An Orangery set away from the house, may also be used for events for up to 170 people in the summer months. The extensive formal garden - one of the finest in the country - can be used as a magical setting for outdoor events, including activity and team-building days for up to 1,000. They also have a marquee space which can accommodate up to 2000 people.
